The Russell Arms is a village pub first...a fire in the bar, a decent pint, dogs welcome and somewhere to sit and do nothing. Whether you are after a proper meal, a few drinks or a coffee after a walk up Coombe Hill, a warm welcome always awaits.
Fancy a bite to eat?
The kitchen cooks from scratch, the grill does the heavy lifting, and the menu changes with the seasons rather than with a marketing calendar.
We buy from local suppliers wherever we can and keep the traceability behind the meat, the fish and the bread...which is the boring part of a menu and also the part that makes it taste of something.

Come and have a drink with us
A good selection of ales, lagers and ciders on draught and in the fridge, along with a wine list chosen to please rather than to impress.
We serve barista coffee too, which is what most of Coombe Hill seems to walk down for on a Sunday morning.
Booking information
For a table of more than six, please get in touch...the booking system is set up for tables of up to six, and we cannot always guarantee a larger table if it arrives as separate bookings.
Please make sure your booking reflects everyone coming, children included. If you are bringing a dog, add it to the booking notes so we can seat you accordingly...dogs are very welcome in the bar, but not in the restaurant during service.
